Very rich and full bodied, with a spiciness favored by coffee enthusiasts. We at The Roastery all agree that this is a ‘curious’ coffee, and one that shouldn’t be missed. This unique coffee from India has its origins from the storage of this coffee during the monsoon season, resulting in a flavor of unique complexity. Very rich and full bodied, with a spiciness that will be favored by anyone who loves a bold “stand you up” coffee.

Similar to our Organic Papua New Guinea, this is a fantastic Indonesian organic coffee – a perfect breakfast cup, with chocolate notes. Full body and earthy.

Good body (not as much as Javas, but on par with Celebes), and a good bit of acidity for an island coffee, this bean has a nice spiciness and floralness, with strong hints of cocoa/chocolate and caramel on the finish. It is excellent for blending and for espresso blends, but please drink it straight too – it shines as a straight! It takes a dark roast very well and puffs up nice and large after a friendly roast. This coffee is very much cleaner in the cup than most Sumatras. A truly wonderful coffee that should be a part of your “coffee collection.”

 

Certified Fair Trade and Organic. A truly rich and full-bodied coffee, also presents and intense, bright aroma. Its acidity is distinct yet mellow. This coffee finishes sweet with a lingering richness. Our current Sumatra is a Gayo Supreme, from the Takengon area in northern Sumatra.

A Certified Fair Trade and Organic Maubesse. Full bodied, fine acidity, typical of Indonesian coffees. Very flavorful, chocolatey and rich! This is a wet processed coffee with less earthiness than a Sumatra or Celebes, and tends to be a cleaner cup.
