Named after the US Army's WWI division, who trained in Colorado's high altitude and mixed terrain to gain physical advantage and insight in battles fought at abroad. A system of mountain huts is still scattered through these mountains, from those times, and anyone who has ever woken up in one after a winter's dusting knows there is no greater joy than sitting by one of their foggy cabin windows and sipping great coffee.
